‘Those Were the Days’ is a one-night only show which offers a truly incredible line up of female stars. Many of the acts on this bill performed at the legendary International Women’s Day events held at The Hackney Empire in the 1990s which celebrated artistes and contributed to the strength of the women’s community. This performance is a benefit for Women’s Aid and will be definitely be a night to remember!

Cast and Creative Team
Clare Summerskill is a lesbian comedian and singer-songwriter who regularly performs her one-woman shows to theatre in the UK and the US. In the 1990s, she formed half of the lesbian cabaret duo Alice and Clare. She is also a playwright, Artistic Director of Artemis Theatre Company, and an independent academic. www.claresummerskill.co.uk
