Have your say!  - Consultation Events announced 

 

As you may be aware, we have exciting new plans for Theatro Technis

And we want to ensure that your ideas and thoughts are central to the shaping of our new building. 

 

We are looking at refurbishing our current building and having a new 

• A new 300-seat theatre

• Large community space

• Small Cabaret and Music space

• Studio Theatre/Cinema screenings

• All-day bar and restaurant

• 9 serviced apartments for international artists and other guests

 

 

We are holding some consultation events, and we would love you to come along and have your say.  Please register your attendance via the form below.

 

Monday 13th April

1300 – 2000 Public consultation event – drop in with 2 talks at 1400 and 1830

This event is open to everyone.  There will be displays that will document the proposed plans, and you will be able to informally ask questions about our ideas.  There will be methods for you to provide feedback and give your ideas, thoughts and discuss any hopes or concerns you may have.

There will be short talks explaining the planned proposals at 1400 and 1830

So that we can ensure we have capacity for all those attending, we would be grateful if you could register your attendance on the short form below 

 

 

Tuesday 14th April

8 am to 10 am Business Breakfast – Intro to plans at 0900

This event is open to local businesses who may be affected by our proposals and or who would like to feed into this planning application.  We are particularly interested in learning how we can collaborate with you moving forward to be mutually supportive as we pursue our new plans.

There will be refreshments provided, with an intro talk to present our plans at 0900

 

 

6 pm to 8 pm Local residents focus group and workshop– session 1

This event is for local residents and local people who have registered to be involved in the consultation via our online form below

This will be a focus group/workshop where we can discuss what the plans are and any hopes and concerns as to how we can best support the community moving forward.  If you would like to take part in these sessions please sign up below

 

 

Tuesday 28th April​

7 pm to 9 pm Online Briefing

This session is for anyone who would like to attend.  In this session we will outline our plans and then there will be an opportunity for a question-and-answer session and discussion in which you can feedback.

This is the second event for local residents and local people. In this session we will hope to address any concerns or questions raised at the first event.
