We are turning THREE and now more than ever, we believe that it is important for our artistic community to come together.
Every day members of our community with ties to MENA+ counties wake up with devastating news from the countries they’re connected to and beyond.
This reinforces our mission to bring these communities together and foster communication and community through the arts.
Join us in celebrating our incredible MENA Arts UK community where we will reflect on everything we have achieved together as well as look forward to the future.
Doors will open from 4pm.
This event will kick off at 4:30pm with a panel But You Don't Look Middle Eastern? 2.0
Back in 2020, we held our first town hall with the prompt But You Don't Look Middle Eastern? which sparked important conversations and fueled our steering group to do the work we believe our creative community here in the UK needs.
Three years later, we want to use this opportunity to look back and see where we're at. What has changed? What hasn't? And what work still needs to be done?
The panel will be chairedby Samira Ahmed. Further panelists TBA.
Guests will have the opportunity to network & get refreshements followed by live music by Asya Satti.
