A Love Letter to Fathers PANEL

Mo Korede, part of Camden Fringe Festival 2023

Pre-show panel event to explore deeper into ideas of fathers and fatherhood

‘Our Father’ unpacks the embodied, generational consequences of absent-present fathers, being human and all the things 'we don't speak about', yet informs our entire idea of self.

Join us for our pre-show panel event- ‘A Love Letter to Fathers’ , where we will explore deeper into our ideas of fathers and fatherhood, the social pressures the role comes with and the love fathers are able and unable to show, yet how we can still appreciate them.

This panel discussion is a great opportunity to ask questions and explore our own perceptions on how we see father figures in our lives and tap into what makes ‘Our Father’ play a show not to be missed.

Disclaimer *Each person who attends the panel will get access to 20% of tickets for Saturday night showing*

ABOUT

Mo Korede (He/Him) is a theatre-maker (writer, director, artistic director). He has run his theatre company Imagiphoria Studios for the past 8/9 years, which do work based on psychological realism and perspective theatre. All Mo's work has been written by himself and he has performed in various places (London, Lagos, Preston). Mo is highly fascinated by creating work that allows others to understand each other more rather than a hero-villain complex. Alongside theatre, he is a poet and a young associate at the Hammersmith Lyric.

Mo is currently doing the MFA Directing Course at Birkbeck and, whilst doing so, he has assisted the likes of Sarah Frankom and Diane Page. Mo will start his role as the resident assistant director of the Lyric Hammersmith at the end of July.

More panellists to be announced soon.
