Written by Scene & Heard Member Playwrights aged 14-16 and performed by professional actors.
Resident company Scene & Heard is a unique mentoring charity that partners local inner-city children of Somers Town, Camden with volunteer theatre professionals. Writeback is a unique playwriting course supporting young people aged 14-16 to develop their creative skills and potential. Inspired by a visit to the Wellcome Collection and supported by volunteer arts professionals, our young playwrights have created Writeback – The Carousel Play, to be performed by professional actors this Autumn.

London’s finest theatre professionals give up their time and dedicate their talents to this unique charity. Writeback – The Carousel Play is written by young people of Somers Town, Camden and performed by professional actors, directed by Rosalind Paul MBE, Scene & Heard CEO and Artistic Director.
This is theatre of the highest quality: imaginative, inspirational and above all huge fun.
