On the day of their daughter Genevieve’s funeral, estranged couple Gwyn and Paul are forced to confront their shared grief, past betrayals, and the unravelling of their once-loving marriage. As they navigate the wreckage of their relationship, old wounds resurface, tempers flare, and buried emotions threaten to consume them both.
Through a series of intimate and volatile conversations—punctuated by moments of humour, tenderness, and painful honesty—Gwyn and Paul wrestle with love, loss, and the question of whether closure is ever truly possible.
As the weight of grief lingers in the air, Genevieve’s presence—both in memory and spirit—reminds them of the unbreakable ties that bind them, even as they drift further apart.
A powerful meditation on love, loss, and the ashes we carry, this stageplay is a heart-wrenching portrait of two people grappling with the unbearable and discovering what remains when everything else has burned away.
