Schlaflos/Sleepless
Paillette Theater
A techno drama
Do you know the feeling when the night pulls you in—and everything else fades away? In Schlaflos/Sleepless, the night becomes a space of liberation and confrontation—through a poetic dialogue between electronic music and storytelling that captures the fragile edge between excess and the longing for escape. Schlaflos/Sleepless is a story about the delicate bonds of friendship, identity, and the moments of inner conflict and self-discovery that we can’t outrun.
Performed bilingually in French and German, with English surtitles, Schlaflos/Sleepless resonates with experiences of vulnerability we’ve all lived—or witnessed in those around us—and holds up a mirror to the complexities of being human. Schlaflos/Sleepless is a raw and intense drama about the truths we sometimes have to face in the night.
