Exhibition of paintings by Federico Baeza Autillo
From growing up in Galicia in the north of Spain. I have always lived in front of the sea so grew up surrounded by forests, landscapes and fishing villages. This has inspired my work in landscapes I find great beauty in these surroundings and the old buildings and ruins that occupy these spaces. I always travel with my sketchbook and pencils so I can spontaneously capture anything that inspires me and afterwards work on these sketches in my studio- This collection of work shows images from Istanbul, Cornwall Venice and forests in Galicia real places that hold a special place in my heart.
A private view is being held on November 11 from 5-7pm and will be your chance to meet the artist. Please email office@theatrotechnis.com to be added to the guest list.
The theatre will be open on November 12-22 from 6pm-10pm for viewings.

ABOUT
Federico Baeza Autillo is a Spanish artist who was born in 1957. Federico holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. In the late 1970s, he began his artistic career in Santiago de Compostela while has was studying art history, participating in multiple exhibitions around Galicia.
Madrid and London, where he currently resides, are the cities where he develops his work, focusing on landscape and seascapes showcases drawings in pencil, watercolour, charcoal, and oils, paying homage to the town of Pontedeume and Ferrol the towns where he grew up in Galicia and some of its iconic buildings, "traveling through streets and landscapes that transport us to other places such as Istanbul or Venice, which merge with the artist's experience and imagination."
His strong connection with Galicia originates, precisely, in Pontedeume, where he spends some time. His work has been exhibited in various European cities.
Federico Baeza Autillo's work has been offered at auction multiple times and his works can be found in well know art collections around Europe.
