Panos Savvides

Panos Savvides is a professional actor. He studied at the International School of Acting and co-founded Woodlands Theatre Company. He produced “Kiss of the Spider Woman”, “Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay”. Panos is very closely associated with Mr George Evgeniou at Theatro Technis where they co-produced “The Inheritors”. Panos played the Wise Man in “Wealth” at Dugdale Centre (Dir. Manos Tsotras). Other stage productions include, “The Immigrants” at the Electra Theatre (Dir. Roberta Fox) and the “Phoenician Women” at the Theatro Technis where he played Oedipus (Dir. George Evgeniou). At The Cyprus Community Centre he played the Dedective in “Fonazi o Kleftis” Panos co-produced and starred in a short film “Sea Urchins” (Co-Producer/Dir. Lou Panteli). Panos, also co-starred in “Panos and Cascadia” (Dir. Rob Jelly). He has worked on many plays with Vasili Panayi. TV credits include The Bill, London’s Burning, Queen of the East starring Jennifer Saunders (BBC TV Dir. Robert Chapman). He also played Captain Stephanos in “Sea of Fire” (BBC TV, Dir. Robert Del Maestro) and featured in “Undercover Customs” (Dir. Robert Khodadad). Feature films include “The Phantom Warrior", “Hitmen" and “The Bezonians". Commercials include British Telecom, MTV promo, Duyvis Pastrelli-Amsterdam and a main feature for Vodafone amongst many others. Film credits include "A Kind of Hush"(Dir. Brian Stern), "Arabs in London" (Dir. Anwar Kawadri), "Troy"(Dir. Woflgang Peterson) and "Alexander" (Dir. Oliver Stone). He has appeared in the series "Petrino Potami" on PIK1 TV for Cyprus. More recently Panos performed his one man show “The Interpretation” as part of The Camden Fringe Festival and “Cypria"by Elena Pavli and he played Agamemnon for Hecuba at Theatro Technis. Panos will be doing his one man show in October.

Maria Georgiou

Maria is a multi-disciplinary creator making social and political issues accessible through theatre, writing, podcasts and events. She started her career as a secondary school teacher and went on to write in an educational context for organisations including the BBC, Channel 4 and The National Theatre, as well as a number of national and international NGO’s. Maria was the lead writer on a BAFTA award winning team making politics relevant to young people through gamification. She has also produced a number a large events. Her first play, Strong, debuted at the SEEN Festival Lewisham in October 2025, produced by Nouveau Riche, and had its second run at The Etcetera Theatre in March 2026 as part of the Women Writers Festival in Camden.
