Vestiges of a Dry Creek

Montserrat Cuellar Mestas is a Mexican actress, theatre maker and interdisciplinary artist. Her work encompasses theatre, contemporary dance, performance art, music, photography and film. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Guadalajara (2020) and a Master of Arts in Theatre Lab from RADA (2025). She has been awarded as a scholar and grant holder twice (2025 and 2026) through the Grodman Legacy programme run by the University of Guadalajara Foundation USA. Prior to moving to London, she directed, produced and performed in “Chrysalides: a flame” (Crisálidas: una flama) an original theatrical and cinematographical musical. She is currently working on the development of the solo show in this festival “Vestiges of a dry creek”, as well as, her directorial short film debut: “Burning Bridges”.

Rita Horta (@radio.rita) is a London–Lisbon based sound designer, composer, and producer whose work centres on texture as much as melody. Building sonic worlds from DIY recordings, layered vocals, and percussive electronic elements into something colourful, organic, and tactile. Her composition and sound design work treats sound not as decoration but as narrative: frequency separation, lo-fi vocal treatment, and stacked BVs used to give a track or a brand its own physical presence. Her commercial and sound design work spans clients including Hoka (via Molecular Sound) and DKNY. She also runs a monthly DJ residency on Voices Radio (Natureza Sónica) and plays regularly at venues like Next Door Records and in London and East Side Radio in Lisbon, spaces where her production ear and her sound design instincts meet in real time.

Felipe Jara is a Chilean theatre maker based in London. His work encompasses producing, performance, directing and devising. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Acting and Performing Arts Education from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master of Arts in Theatre Lab from RADA (2025). He has been awarded Chile’s National Fund for the Performing Arts twice. He produced Drama desde la Cama, an online cycle of rehearsed readings created during the pandemic that showcased Latin American new writing. As a creator and performer, he is a member of Lab Rats Collective, whose work RATKING was presented at the Voila! Festival 2025, and Fish in a Kettle, performed in Liverpool and Frankfurt supported by the TIDAL ArtS Fund 2026.
