KAT presents a powerful evening of music, storytelling, and celebration.

KAT presents: International Women’s Day with Live Music!


Join us on Sunday 8th March 2026 at 5 PM for an evening of live music, storytelling, creativity, and celebration.


KAT and friends will share performances exploring strength, struggles, and galvanising spirit through a woman’s lens, while also paying homage to some of music’s all-time female greats. Featuring a line-up of exciting creatives, this night is designed to uplift, inspire, and spark thoughtful conversation, bringing the community together to honour women’s voices and artistry on International Women’s Day.


Line-up includes: Performers KAT, Emily Fields and spoken word artist Connie. The evening will also include screening of short films: The Orange Keepers, Charlie's Freedom and Night Armour. There will also be a Q&A with the creatives from The Orange Keepers.

KAT will also unveil her new music video at #IWDLive for upcoming single ‘One Man Show’ for the first time!


Cast and Creative Team

KAT is a soulful alt-pop singer-songwriter and storyteller who crafts immersive, emotionally charged experiences where music, narrative, and performance collide. London-born and Cypriot, she blends alt-pop, soul, and rock into raw, intimate stories of strength, survival, and self-discovery, delivered with fearless presence and powerhouse vocals inspired by greats like Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, and Tina Turner

A multidisciplinary creative and magnetic performer, KAT has headlined and curated acclaimed intimate shows across London, including a sold-out night at The Camden Chapel. She also champions emerging artists as a presenter on LGR 103.3fm and guest host on Radio Brockley’s The Alpha Sessions, amplifying new voices across the arts.

KAT will perform an intimate, powerful set, giving a glimpse into her own journey and musical world. Expect a mix of original songs, storytelling, and moments that celebrate connection and creativity. Socials: @katsmusiq


Carol Younghusband

Writer - Charlie’s Freedom and Night Armour

Carol is an award-winning writer of theatre, film & TV and a published playwright. Her work includes 10 short films that have been selected for more than 100 festivals worldwide including Oscar and BAFTA qualifiers and gained distribution. She was an additional writer on an Emmy award-winning TV show and is currently developing a TV thriller and a children’s feature film.


Georgina French

Producer of Charlie’s Freedom and Night Armour

Georgina has produced numerous award-winning short films, including CHARLIE’S FREEDOM and NIGHT ARMOUR and has been working on several TV shows in the last couple of years including Bad Sisters.  She founded French Fancy Productions Ltd in 2013 to promote the female voice and is currently in advanced development with her company’s first feature film.


Carolina Giammetta

Director of Night Armour

Carolina is a much in-demand director. She has recently completed shooting Bookish, a six-part drama starring Mark Gatiss. And last year she directed all eight episodes of Suspect starring Anne-Marie Duff.  She started in the Industry as a Comedy Actress and now directs many shows for Channel 4, ITV and Channel 5 including Before We Die, Hollington Drive and The Drowning.


Rachel Tillotson

Director of Charlie’s Freedom

Rachel is a BAFTA award-winning filmmaker with extensive short film and TV directing experience. She is predominantly interested in films written from a female perspective and is also keen on dark comic stories and psychological thrillers. She has made thirteen short films that have won at prestigious festivals including Clermont-Ferrand, DepicT, Brest and Encounters.

Blue Moon

Blue Moon is a solo indie artist whose unique musical style defies genre and expectation. Classically trained and influenced by artists such as Pomme and Sufjan Stevens, she writes cathartic songs in English, French and Italian that reflect on queerness, love, grief and hope. Her introspective storytelling is complemented by her wistful playing of the autoharp, electric guitar and piano during captivating performances. She is currently working on her debut album.

Emily Fields

Emily Fields is a Bristol-based indie artist, known for her anthemic choruses and high-energy live shows.Turning personal journals into pop soul songs, she connects “stories of love, life, and loss to universal human experiences, creating a resonant and deeply relatable body of work" (Plastic Mag, 2024). Since her debut single charted at #21 on iTunes, Emily’s music has featured on ITV’s Love Island All Stars and received radio support from BBC Introducing, Future Hits’ A-list, and twice named as Riverside’s Track of the Week. Live highlights include a sold-out show at The Bedford (Balham), supporting soul powerhouse Ciinderella Balthazar at Putney’s Half Moon, and performing at The Ned for Discover Live. Host and Radio 1 presenter, Jodie Bryant, described her single Lately as “a perfectly shaped pop song by such an exciting up-and-coming artist.” With her debut EP due mid-2026, Emily’s been named “one to watch” by Right Chord Music, with Lefuturewave praising her songwriting for "concretizing what music is all about.”

Connie

(@connieswrittencreations) is a spoken word artist known for her lyrical, punchy poetry exploring womanhood, toxic relationships, and healing. Through raw honesty, rhythm, and storytelling, her performances challenge, empower, and resonate long after the final line - all delivered with signature confidence and a touch of sass.
